GLOBAL VIPASSANA EXPERIENCE PAVILION

The Global Vipassana Experience Pavilion at the GVP Pagoda, Mumbai has been envisioned to be a space for introducing the story of Dhamma and Vipassana to visitors at the Pagoda. The Pavilion was designed in a colonnaded space admeasuring 18000 sqft under the main pagoda structure. Our concept for the space designed around the idea of a free flowing experience of spatial volume by eliminating the presence of the structural elements. We achieved this flow by following a serpentine circulation which was seamless yet distinctive in its definition and by eliminating the visual presence of columns.
